Javascript web apps with Ember.js – Lunch meeting Thurs Jan 3rd

We’re starting off the new year the web geek way with a lunch meeting hosted by Toran Billups. Help take your Javascript application development to the next level by leveraging the cutting edge MVC framework Ember.js. Toran will be showing off the power of client-side MVC using this amazing tool. (it’s a more modern equivalent to Backbone.js and is based on the codebase of Sproutcore)

We’ll be meeting for lunch this Thursday in West Des Moines at Felix and Oscar’s. Meet us at Noon at 4801 Westown Parkway . The meeting is free and you can purchase your favorite sandwich, pasta or pizza dish from their great lunch menu (there are many choices for $7-8).

Toran is a software engineer at IMT insurance and develops webapps with Javascript and Python and also develops iOS mobile apps. He’s passionate about Ember.js and client side MVC so come prepared for a great presentation.
