Lunch with Matt Makai developer evangelist for Twilio

Twilio is an amazing service that enables you to build SMS and telephone-enabled apps in minutes. As part of Des Moines Tech Week and the I/OWA conference, Matt Makai, developer evangelist for Twilio, will be in town and would like to talk to us over lunch.

You may know Matt Makai as the face behind Full Stack Python, and my hope is that maybe we’ll see a little Python-fu as we learn about messaging apps.

This is a BYOSandwich event, so bring your brown bag.

Also, bring your laptop! Matt will be guiding us through some hands-on activities while we munch.

We’ll be meeting Tuesday Oct. 14th downtown at Gravitate in the 6th floor meeting room from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. There’s parking on the street and several nearby locations. The address is 206 6th Ave,  Des Moines, IA, 50309.
