CANCELED: Building Facebook Messenger Bots with JavaScript

Facebook Messenger Bots are pretty fun to make! And they are tightly integrated with Facebook pages, offering new ways for customers to connect with businesses.

We’ll take a look at the capabilities of a Messenger Bot, and we’ll see practical examples of Messenger bots out in the wild, in addition to more “fun” implementations. And we’ll walk through creating a simple Messenger bot using JavaScript.

Josh Larson is a front-end engineer at Vox Media and a co-organizer of Web Geeks and DSM Front End meet ups. He’s built a Facebook Messenger bot before. Rumor has it that he *is* a Messenger bot disguised as a human.
