March 14th Lunch: Introduction to React Native
JavaScript has enabled developers to blur the lines of responsibility. A savvy front-end developer can write whole web applications in one familiar language from the UI to the backend. Mobile applications were a bit different. Specific iOS and Android developers were always needed to craft truly native mobile applications and JavaScript could only fake the mobile experience. Now with the introduction of React Native we have a brand new take on mobile development that rivals the capabilities of native mobile developers.
We are very excited to have Clayton Brady, a Drake professor and iOS programmer at Shift Interactive, give us an introduction to React Native, and share his expertise in mobile development. Join us March 14th at Blue Compass in West Des Moines for free lunch and an exciting presentation. Please RSVP for an accurate headcount.
