Typesafe GraphQL in React

DSM Web Geeks July meetup is Monday, 7/8 at 6:30pm! Blake Mulnix from Source Allies will be presenting on “Typesafe Graph QL in React.”

We will start with an overview of GraphQL’s advantages over traditional REST APIs. Next, we’ll demonstrate how to communicate between GraphQL backend and a TypeScript React app, and learn the power of GraphQL Codegen for auto-generating types and enabling type safety. Finally, we’ll cover the fundamentals of sending queries using Apollo Client, showcasing how it simplifies data fetching in React. By the end of this session, you’ll be equipped with the foundations to start using these tools in your own projects!
